Thank you to the kind employees at the Coconut Creek City Hall and the Coconut Creek Police Department for inviting the FIL community to take a tour of your home.
Each month, FIL Board Member, Detective Clint Corey and Detective Steven James are joined by a special guest, who come to the FIL clubhouse for Crime Prevention Meetings.
These visits mean so much to the residents of FIL. Each Crime Prevention Meeting empowers each resident to stay safe in their community.
Now, it was our turn to see their home.
Detectives Corey and James hosted FIL on a tour of their facility, introducing many City of Coconut Creek employees, who explained what they did for the city and what that meant for our residents.
We are especially thankful for the time they took to field and and answer questions from FIL’s residents.
At the end of the tour, Commissioner John A. Brodie made a surprise appearance and handed out the Coconut Creek Inclusion Award to Gene Bannigan!
What a fantastic day.
We also have to say thank you to all the family members who attended the event, including Board Member Larry Koch, Iris Stolper and Lisa Tanner.
Your participation was appreciated, and we thank you for your support.
