EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
We firmly believe that not only does everyone have the ability to work, but everyone has the RIGHT to work if they choose.
We recognize that work means different things to different people. For some it might be a 40 hour a week job. For others it might just be a few hours here and there. Still for others it might mean volunteering as a way to give back to the community. We see the value in them all equally. You’ve never worked but are interested? We can help you out there too.
Working alongside our Employment Specialist, FIL’s residents gain skills such as:
- Dressing for success
- Resume writing
- Interviewing
- Completing job applications
- Job exploration
- Job coaching
And all of our employment opportunities – whether a paid job or volunteering – are at integrated community sites such as:
- Restaurants
- Car Washes
- Fulfillment Centers
- Animal Shelters
- Grocery Stores
- Community Non-Profits
