Staying Active: Painting & Billiard nights Out

To celebrate International Women’s Day, nearly 30 residents and staff made their way to “Painting With A Twist” in Coral Springs for a night of smiles, laughter and creativity.

Participants could follow the lead of an instructor or venture off on their own.

While many claimed not to be artistic, the end results were amazing and really showed off the skills and inner artist of each individual.

Everyone agreed it was a great night and they can’t wait to go back and do it again!

    Billiards & Laughs

The following night, residents and staff headed out for an evening of billiards, food and companionship.

While there may not be any pro level pool players at FIL (yet), the night wasn’t about the competition (okay… it was a little).

Sure there might have been a bit of trash talking, and more than a bit of laughter at both the good and the bad shots, but the important thing is that everyone had a great time and made the promise to polish up on their skills and do it again soon.

As always, the emphasis at FIL is on resident engagement and fulfillment. If laughter is a gauge of success, these two nights had the meter pegged on “Full”.
