Mark loved to read.

At every opportunity, he asked a simple question:
“Can we take a trip to the library?”

For Mark, books were a way forward. Reading gave him access to ideas, understanding, and independence. Each book strengthened his confidence and expanded how he saw the world.

Mark believed in learning as a lifelong practice. He embraced new information, adapted easily to technology, and stayed engaged with what was changing around him. That mindset shaped the people around him. He encouraged curiosity, welcomed questions, and showed others that learning was something to pursue, not outgrow.

Though Mark is no longer with us, his love for reading remains.

The Read More Book Club exists in his honor. It continues his belief that access to knowledge builds independence and opens opportunity. Every book opened and every moment of discovery reflects the legacy Mark left behind.

This is not simply a book club.
It is a continuation of Mark’s way of living.
