Getting the input of our residents is critical to everyone at FIL. After all, this is their community.
To that end, two groups of residents have been meeting with the Executive Director and team twice monthly to discuss what they like at FIL and what they think needs improving.
As has been emphasized since the beginning, these are solution-oriented groups. Not just an avenue for complaint.
To that last point, recently the Admirals Advisory Committee met with the management team of Cypress Shores Apartments to discuss areas of concern they had with the community they live in.
It was a productive exchange about what Cypress Shores is doing to improve their community, how things get done at a large apartment complex and how FIL’s residents can help to make the place they live better.
Everyone agreed it was a great meeting and that we should do it again.
