Special Olympics Update: Bowling Returns to FIL

Rick Kodish competed in Bocce Ball at the USA National Special Olympics Games earning a third place in Unified Doubles, as well as third place in the Unified Team competition.

FIL is proud of Rick for not only representing #TeamFIL but the State of Florida.

Special Olympic Bowling is always a favorite for FIL residents, and this year is no different.

After taking the past couple of years off from Special Olympic Bowling, it is easy to say that the Residents are excited to be back!

Returning to Sawgrass Lanes gave all the residents a big smile. It did not matter if they got a strike or spare; they were happy to be back.

FIL also is getting our feet wet with a Special Olympic Swim team.

Giving the Residents an opportunity to try something new and go out into the community is what FIL is all about!
